ebay intake, 100$ well spent

hey i just got my ebay k&n filter and pipes from ebay. install time 20 mins, the easiest thing to do. here is the quick picture, let me know what you think. by the way the sound is a big change, when you stand outside it might be a lil too loud for some, but i love it. when sitting in the car you feel it a lil bit but nothing too much. driving under 4 k rpm theres no big difference in sound ut defenitely in performance, wants you hit around 4k rpm wow big difference in sound, it sounds like 540 bimmer. and it definitely pulls much better. also ive noticed that it idles a lil better, the engine seems to just work a lil easier. overall great 100$ item.

it's just a pipe. The filter prob cost more than the pipe to make. If you were going throught ebay, you could have at least got a cai.

So you paid $100 to sound like a ricer and suck hot air in from the engine bay? Sounds like a great way to waste money.

Did you pull the pics?

If it works for you, then great. I agree that you get what you pay for. But if you're going to spend $100, you should have at least gotten a CAI. You could have found one on the Black Market for not too much more than that.

For the money.. I bet your $100 intake works just as well as a $200 SRI. There's nothing wrong with SRI, because it does eliminate the restriction, however it doesn't perform as well as a CAI because it's not sucking in the coldest air possible by the bumper.

I think the best SRI from what i read for our cars is the Weapon R Secret Weapon, even though I had a lot of WR brand stigma in the past:P
