I think your jumping the gun. I think you need to stop bitching about it. Just install them & see what happens. Everyone warned you, you choose to not heed those warnings.

Those are tig welded. Stainless warps easier than mild steel. With tig welding, the welder is able to better control the heat a lot better than mig so it doesn't warp but it's more time consuming. That's why all mild steel headers are mig welded.

welds dont look too bad but it does seem like you over paid

 

no the piping and the flanges don't meet up. IE where the pipes begin from the main Head flange. The piping is not even flush with the exhaust holes cut in the flange. and some are more so than others??

I must be a noob cause when i got headers for my Probe they were done to the 9s inside and out and I thought that's just standard.

maybe I was just spoiled b4 and expect the same for less on a better car.

make sure you got the fronts and the back one correctly. everyone warned you but at least you can warn others now.
the welds arent terrible, but just try them out. you never know.

 

what did you expect for the price you paid?

 

Before you install them, put a straight edge along the flanges and make sure they aren't warped. Also put them together, headers to the crossover pipe, make sure the flanges meet up together and the header flanges are even and parrallel. You could even put the two header flanges together to check if they are flat.

When I put my first set on, I just installed them without checking and they leaked. When I took them off and really looked at them, the flanges were warped and I was told by the seller and manufacturer "since you used them, we cannot give you a refund"

I would keep em you paid 45 dollars for shipping and you wont get that money back plus you have to ship it to him for probably the same price so that's about 90 bucks you would lose I say just go for it

i don't think I have it in me. I'm gonna sell them to someone who wants just headers. I like the piece of mind with qualtiy products like comptech... which is the exhaust I plan on adding. SO.. I'll have to just sell these things and just throw on the pulley and buy some other mods to shut me up for now.

 

you will not get what you paid for these when you basically said they are crap the best way is to just contact the seller

 

contact the seller first and see if you can get a refund.
if you cant then you can consider selling them. with what you said and untested fitment, you wont get a lot for them, so might as well refund them

 

If i cant find anyone to toss me 150CAD for them then i'll prolly throw them on.

I'd trade these for a P2R tb spacer and thermo gaskets actually. If anyone is interested.

I think your worried and complaining about nothing. They dont look as bad as your making them out to be. Ive seen the XS and the DC look like that. Put them on and then if you have something to complain about do it then.

people who would like to add headers to their car should just wait until the new batch from DC Sports arrives. They are $300 for a quality brand and DC alwyas builds their stuff tough.

My DC Sports look better than that and I got them used. They have been on for six months and are great.

what you need to do is stop complaining about being cheap, everything for our cars exhaust wise is expensive. You decided to take the cheap route and got burned, it happens, you get what you pay for, and now you want to sell that junk to someone else? you sound as bad as the guy who sold them on ebay.

if you have a problem with them, talk to the guy who sold them to you, or stop whining honestly.
