anyways, it was just to save face a bit, he said to only e-mail him back if I was bidding... I e-maild him back apologizing and thankging him for the picture. I told him I'd bid at the last minute if I felt like I wanted them. I already have comptech exhausts...

You are all a bunch of GULLIBLE IDIOTS. What Civic4982 failed to mention is I sent him photos showing the metal flanges the mufflers bolt on with. I would also like to point out the fact that I'M IN BOSTON YOU MORONS, AND THE OTHER AUCTION WAS FROM A GUY IN CALIFORNIA, so how are we the same person? WHATEVER!! I thought the idea of placing the mufflers on a white towel on the floor of my garage was smart so I did the same thing. The photos may look similar but they are different.

Whatever the case may be, I have a subwoofer box custom made to fit into the spare tire well of a CL. It fits two 12" subwoofers. I'm looking to sell it. If anyone is interested, I have photos I can send.

Where in Boston are you? Or, are you outside Boston? I live in NH and work in MA, so I could come look at these if you like. I can let everyone on here know if these are legit or not. on top of the oil spot look at the place where the conrete space crosses the towel same exact positioning... also the positions of the front two hangars are the same... yo ustole the image so STFU and quit trying to bllshit us... you can shove that crow up your ass...

i sent you that email, so i can meet you in person, and report fraud if it is not the real comptech or dif. than the description. i've been ripped off $1000.00, so i was mad as hell when i read this thread, i know people posted these pics are smart, so i trust their judgment. also, it is clear to me that those 2 pics are the same pics. i emailed the high bidder not to bid on your muffler because i don't want anybody to buy a fake stuff and end up losing lots of money like me.

OK.. enough E-thugging..... you used someone else's photos... photos from someone that got nailed for a fraudulent auction.... and these guys thought they were trying to be sold again. Just b/c the locations are different doesn't mean shit... you can say you're from anywhere.
Anyway, they apologized... that's it... game over. You want to e-thug and talk shit.... email them. Bottom line is you got nailed using someone else's photos.... next time.. use your own and you won't have this problem. You don't have to admit it... we all know it's the same photo.... unless you were able to duplicate the towels, the positioning of the exhausts, the oil spot, and even the reflection in the exhausts. If you could do all of that you should be a professional photographer.
