Ive had this nasty creaking/knocking/rattling sound up front under the passenger side dash for as long as ive had the car...took it to the dealer TWICE and their "fix" only lasted 2 days each time...well i got so pissed that today i ripped the whole thing apart and found out that it was SIMPLE to take care of...on the passanger side kick panel, right in front of the door is a small plastic panel that hooks under the dash, it slides partially underneath the kick panel. all you have to do is pull that piece off, its very easy..no screws or bolts. once its off you will see a rectangular metal box that is some kind of computer thing...not sure what but its got a sticker that says "CO" on it..anyways, below it are 2 bolts that hold it in tightly...just take off those bolts with the famed "turny-clicky thing" and shove something behind it (i used a clean shop rag folded up) then screw the computer box thing back on and replace the plastic cover peice...DONE!!! NO MORE FUCKING CREAKING!!!!! ALLELUIAH!!!!!!!
