E55 AMG, E36 M3, and NEW DODGE VIPER!!
I just got back from the place I've been going with friends and been trying to beat my friend Jon's 99 AT M3 Sedan (see http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=120910). So with taking all that weight (115 lbs) out of my trunk it looks like I'm closer to him, but he's still a little faster. There was too much traffic and I didn't have time to keep going with all of the nice ass cars we ran into!!
First there was a brand new dodge viper (no plates yet... beautiful car) and Jon got him to race from a red light in the M3. I was stuck in the back with Scott who was filming...
But I guess it's worth it for the vid. I'm gonna mount a cam from my headrest next time (I'll do it hella ghetto style with just taping a tripod to headrest bars) so I dont have to carry around 150 lbs of Scott. That viper is bad ass! soooo loud! and that thing flies!
We kept going with the viper for 3 red lights then we came back to our spot and ran into a new E55 AMG. Again, Jon was in front and he just took off from the red light, but the E55 who wasn't expecting to race took off fast and smoked the M3. Not sure by how much but damn that thing is fast!

apparently the e55 and m3 made it through a yellow light and i was behind and caught the red and slammed on the brakes... thats why we didnt get vid of that part!

use your tripod thing so a cameraperson isn't needed. try a mini-burnout right before you go so your tires are clean and have a little more grip. work on your launches (heh you can practice with DJ). you took him pretty easily on one of them...not sure what you did differently.
