Hey guys...Im sure you're sick of this stuff buy now, but I have a quick and probably stupid question for those of you who have the emanage up and running. I finally finished all the wiring, but the emanage is throwing a code...#40 Improper wiring of ignition signal wires...I have checked and rechecked my wiring and can't figure it out...The only thing I can think of now is that I have my wires backwards...When you look at the wiring diagram in the Emanage manual, it says the in wires from the harness go to the ecu...I am assuming now that the ECU is my cars factory ecu correct? If by ecu they mean the emanage then that is my problem..if not, then I have no clue...Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Oh, and the car is running fine even with this code...kinda weird I think

Yeah...that was the first diagram I used also...but my question was...From the emanage, in their instructions is says that the white striped wires are IN to the ECU....is the ECU in their instruction book the emanage or my stock computer

For instance...in the above diagram ( the top one) what wires are going to the letters and which ones are going towards the numbers?

 

the Left side is the harness comming in from the vehicle and the right side is to the ECU

 

Ok...thanx...looks like I figured it out...Greddy told me that you have to wire it in order of the car's firing order... So our car is 1,4,2,5,3,6...according to another post in here
