e-Manage NA Test, Atlanta Owner Needed

I would like to arrange a test of the e-Manage on an Atlanta area CL-S/TL-S. I need one with headers and intake, manual or automatic. I want to see what we can get out of an NA vehicle with the e-Manage through tuning.

I will be using a wiring harness but will need to tap into one factory wire. Other than that, nothing will be altered on the car. I will pay for the dyno time just to find out the potential but can't offer anything else.

This may take place later this month or early next month. Just let me know if you are interested.

Unless you want to drive to Atlanta. But I would prefer to try on a "regular" CL-S/TL-S.

Thanks Matt, I guess I owe you a beer for that comment.

I suspected a vehicle would be available locally. Heck, even the surrounding states could be used as Atlanta is somewhat central. I guess it hasn't been read yet though by the right owner.

I am paying for the dyno at the least.

Possibly less than that with right coupling and pipe.

But I'd rather have a "normal" vehicle for a baseline.

We would really like ot see headers in there too. Most people that will be looking at the e-Manage or even the Unichip would most likely have headers.

I know....

Better yet, you drive your ass down from Michigan. Just hop on I-75 south and stay on it about 10 - 12 hours.

You'll have a solution soon enough. We'll have a good e-Manage program for the boosted J32A2 motor before the end of the year. This will incorporate the ability to run a smaller pulley; more boost.

I wanted to help out the NA brethren but it seems the Atlanta area is a bit limited.

I do hope you are joking. I will give you my contact information if you would like but that drive isn't necessary. Dean mentioned he will be back up in the Atlanta area in the next month or two and we can use his car. That provides enough time to get the sockets and connectors needed for a new harness and tested on Brad's car.

Not to mention I will be a bit busy with the IC and final boosted e-Manage tuning for the next month.

It'll probably only take a few hours on the dyno. But let's wait to see if someone local appears. Otherwise, as mentioned, Dean may be available. No sense in making a LONG drive for this yet.

Dennis previously lived in the Atlanta area but has moved up to the Chicago area. His profile still shows Atlanta though.

I'm here! I'm here! Took a mini-vaca last week!

I'm coming up to Atlanta late Friday night, Dec. 19th and will be there until noon on Sunday for early Christmas stuff with my grandparents...
If needed, I'm off between Dec. 24th and Jan 6th and could come up like the 29th or so for a day or two and hang with the parental units again...

I have an auto TL-S with the CT headers, Injen intake, UR crank pulley, blah blah blah...

Almost forgot: Cumming, GA off 400 at exit 13--that was pretty close to you, right???

I have a 2001 CL-S automatic that I would be willing to let you try this on. I dont have an intake or headers, but if you decide to try it anyway let me know and I will be glad to help out.

Great, thanks for volunteering. I will need to get the connectors for the automatic version (I planned on getting some anyway) and make a new harness for the 5AT, but that will be simple enough. Your car is perfect and what we need. I'll find out about the connectors today or tomorrow and will drop you a note on the potential schedule.

Cumming isn't too far away; I'm about 20 - 30 minutes west. The shop I would plan on dynoing at is in Marietta; just down the street from the Big Chicken.
