e brake indicator light on in the AM
every morning the indicator light for my e-brake is on. the brake is definitely not engaged at all, but the light in the dash stays on for about the first 15 minutes or so of my morning commute.
is that bad? why would that happen? do I need to do anything about it?

Umm...if the fluid is low don't just top it off and walk away. CHECK UR BRAKE PADS.....the only way for brake fluid to become low w/o leaking is low brake pads. when ur pads get low the piston moves further to compensate for the low pads...when the piston moves further more brake fluid fills in the lines causing low fluid. If u replace the brake pads and compress the calipers back to normal form to fit the new brake pads in...ur fluid will rise again.

Since I've had my car, I've been trying different brake pads to see which ones i like the best. I've tried every set from Axxis to EBC. I even upgraded my rotors. Problem was I never flushed the brake lines. I never even looked at the brake fluid. My dad (he's a mechanic for Chrysler) told me to get my brake system flushed and go from there. I got an appointment this Sat. and the dealer said they would check out the master cylinder when they flush the brake lines. I'll keep you guys posted.

becareful...cause I've heard many stories about dealers not actually flushing the lines. They just replace the fluid in the master cylinder resevoir and you'll never know. Make sure that u can trust them.
