Dyno results for my 6 speed

I went to the dyno this morning to lay down a couple of pulls and overall I'm happy with the results. I made 217.2 HP and 206.1 TQ with only an AEM CAI. The small section that is missing from the graph is caused by their rpm probe cutting out and they said it wasn't the car. Next week I'll be putting on Comptech headers with another dyno soon to follow.

I also have a video I'll try to post soon. Mods feel free to move this to the dyno chart gallery after it gets some views.

Hmmmm should be abit higher because of the intake as stock CLS 6MT should put down close to 220.

What gear did you dyno in?
What was the temp?
Was the engine cool when you did the runs or was the engine suffereing from heat soak?

The engine was warm from the drive over there but it was allowed to cool slightly between runs. The temp was about 60. These are SAE numbers and an intake won't add much. It was done in 4th gear.

Hmmmm, i'm thinking this is why you aren't seen more gains. Intake doesn't add much( you should see atleast 5-8hp) but you aren't dynoing any better than a stock 6MT.

No worries As long as you are having fun driving your car that's all that matter

Why run it to fuel-cut, it's not gonna make any extra hp past 6200rpm. Maybe run it closer to redline, but even thats not horribly neccesary. We all know to get the best numbers to shift at redline.

What do you mean? None of the other dyno's on the site go up that high. I told them to run it to 6900 and they ran it in 4th till it bumped the limiter. Should I go higher next time?

JTKZ is right, if you look at the dyno the power falls of after about 6200, there is no point in going past factory redline (6900), and hitting that fuel-cut is terrible for your engine

You should hit 240whp easy with headers.

BTW... I never posted my NA dyno... 277whp - I have to find it and scan it. Peak power was at 6.8K RPM

Looking at his sig, looks like your old headers are on his '00 TL. They wouldn't fit the 6 speed anyways.

They were on my 2000 TL which is now totaled. They wouldn't have fit the 6 speed and were crushed anyway. I never did a dyno of that car.
