how much is it to dyno a car? i found a place which will do 3 runs for 80 bux. it it worth it? or am i getting ripped off?

some places have dyno specials for a lot better than that. A friend of mine with a mustang told me there's a place here that has a special day one Sat. a month where it's $30 for 3 pulls, so better deals may be had elsewhere.

 

IMO, that's a not an unreasonable price. Prices vary all over the map.

You might want to see if anyone else has used them... (just a thought)

no one in the LA area has dynoed b4? if they have, ask around for what they paid. Since everything in CA is more expensive, maybe you won't find a cheaper price.

Yea, they dynoed my car in 4th instead of 3rd, so it came up with only 200 hp

I paid $50 for 3 runs. Got 4 runs, but I didn't like their set up. Something was up with the air.

Another shop has a "hub" dyno. It's like $120. But, that's for someone installing something like a VAFC. That's for dyno tuning.

Try to get in on a dyno day. You can do it for cheap then.
