duplicolor

anyone out there painting their stock wheels and doing it themselves. i was looking at the satin black duplicolor paint with a high performance clear. anybody tried? or do you think its a bad idea? all input is welcome. thanks guys!

wheels should be powder coated

I agree, powder coating is a must for wheels. If you try and paint them (tires removed, of course) you will end up with scratched paint as soon as the tires are remounted unless the tech is extremely careful. Powder coating won't chip, or fade and is very hard to scratch (just dont hit any curbs).
