Dual Tip Exhaust on CL (pic)

I'm not sure if its shady to take a pic of someone elses ride but had to post this. Seen in southeast Houston. Very unusual and very eye-catching, I almost had a wreck u-turning to take a picture of it.
Top marks for originality.

I give them credit for originality as well, but uggh, it just doesn't look right. Since the car was designed for a single outlet it doesn't line up at all. Maybe if the two tips were centered over the cutout it would look better....

the only double-tips i like are the 1st Generations's tips or the old early '90's Accord SE's tips...VERY sporty, thinner, and would prob fit the contours of the CL bumper-cut-outs much better!!

I like the dual tip exhaust, but it just doesn't look right at all without being lined up under the cutouts.

That is a pretty shady exhaust job, but i am sure it looked a lot better before it was installed.

Those are Konig Tantrums. I think they're 19". Check out the Gallery on tl.com. The car is on the second row to the right, and the first 2 on the third row....

I think he had a cheap installer but it would look great if they were lined up correctly.

that *might* look good....but it's hard to tell with that awful install...the bumper is fcked up and the tips are not even close to being aligned..... I'll give you my real opinion when someone does it right.

I want everyone that reads this thread to vow never to put such an ugly exhaust on your car. Don't make a $30,000 luxury sports coupe/sedan ugly with exhaust that isn't lined up.

damn good thing i didn't go with quad tips... i knew they wouldn't fit with the cutout on the rear bumper... looks pretty bad IMO... aren't those magnaflows?

i think my homie has the same ones on his GS300. looks better on that car.

Not loud from the outside, but annoying from the inside. But,
I think most aftermarket exhausts are like that. Expensive. Yes.
Quality build... well... who really uses chrome tips anymore.
You're better off with stainless.
