DTC: P1106 "Range/Performance Problem in BARO Sensor Circuit"
I was on the highway today, merging onto an off-ramp and the car stalled at about 30 MPH.
I had the scan tool in the car with me and although it didn't throw a CEL it did store a DTC.
P1106 "Manufacturer Fuel Air Meter"
In the Helms it says P1106 is "Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem.
Once I was stopped I restarted the car and it wouldn't idle. It would just fall on its face unless and applied throttle. And even then it wouldn't rev smoothly, kinda felt like I had a 2-step installed...had a lower rev limit until it finally got above 2,000 RPMs and then it would rev smooth, but when I let off the gas, the engine fell on its face again.
After about 5 minutes of restarting the car it idled fine.
Helms says:
1) Reset PCM.
2) Start engine and hold at 3,000 rpm until radiator fan comes on.
3) Test drive in 2nd gear
4) Accelerate at WOT for 5 seconds and then re-scan.
5) If code appears again, replace PCM.
I'm gonna go do this now...

Went out to do the troubleshooting...
The code was already cleared when I went back out, BUT i did the troubleshooting procedure anyways. The code didn't come back.
I don't feel like i've gotten to the bottom of this though...

Sorry to hear that...Definately need expert assistance.
Do you have enough FP at idle could be your plugs by running rich, etc...
I experienced electric mulfunction issue too last night; and will drop it off tonight to check whats up. Its either my spark plug or electric connections, damn it hope not worse.

It's at the dealership now. Happened to me 6 times today. See, if it was the plugs or the injectors I'd think it would run shitty at WOT, but once I got the car running it pulled fine.
Anyways... I'm thinking about getting out of the CL-S all together...

Ah yea. TSX all the way man. You could have so much fun with that engine. Hopefully someone will release some cams and/or new head for the engine. From what hondata people were saying the TSX head is as good as the RSX head except in the intake port.....small. Either way, the comptech supercharger, better pullies, intercooler with Kpro tuning available will make the car very quick. One hell of a sleeper...........

Car is still in the shop. They thought they had it fixed but when they test drove it the car died again.
Supercharger, headers, intercooler, and a few other things are sold.

The IC never even was installed. I decided it wasn't a good idea to mod the car anymore once it hit 90k miles. Time for me to move on to something newer and with more potential.
The CL would definitely have hit a 12, no doubt about it in my mind.
The new car will hit 12s and still manage 25 mpg.
