Drop in power all the sudden "HELP"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.... 2003 cl 6 speeder just lately drops power right before vtec kicks in. Has never done this before and now this is what happens all the time. I only notice it in 1st gear WOT. Its like a brief Bog then goes again. The car has about 33000 miles on it. Thanks guys

do u really have to ask that queation...let it get fixed right for FREE at ur local dealership. If u fuck wit it and mess it up or brake it or something...ur gonna be sorry. And if they give u shit about ur mods and say it broke cause of ur headers or some shit...FIND ANOTHER DEALER!!!Good luck..

actuator all the way. - No way that they can blame a header for that problem, because all its function is related on RPM and throttle position and not on how fast exhaust gases leave the header. If the dealer does denie it they are bunch of pricks IMHO.

I took the car to the dealer and when they were done they said there was no problem and they didn't feel or seee anything out of the ordinary. Was going to give the car back and sent the tech out to go for a adrive with me to seee if the prob still existed....... I could feel the same thing happen and he (the tech)could not feel it. I then showed him the Writeup ( http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...ht=failed+imrc ) needless to say they kept the car and would try to find specifically if the imrc was bad or not.... .. they just called and are going to replace it ..... will finish note later today... thx for help guys.

thank god for the forums .. this is not the first time that someone has had to prove that the IMRC can go bad. infact I remember one guy that actually had to prove to his dealer that it existed .. they swore they never heard of such a thing.
