Driving Pet Peeves

Every morning I drive Route 95 South from NH
to Boston at 5:15 AM. I drive 80-85 mph and I've got these pickup trucks passing me on both sides
doing 90 - 100 mph. They drive these trucks like they think they are in a Porsche!! Oh well....

Never drove one myself but they say pickup trucks these days drive just like cars.

At 5:15AM, you have the "macho men" construction drivers going to work. They think that they are invincible. Just ask one.

What makes me gulp is when these huge "macho"
pickup trucks start weaving in and out of
traffic at 90 mph. I give them a wide berth.

The other thing is how can someone go 90 without
a V1. I just don't get it. I still see piggy's
under bridges on the dividing strip that early.

It's all part of living and/or driving in the Bay State, my friend. I commute from Waltham to Marlboro every morning and I would say the average speed is between 85 and 90 every day!!! "Hey, officer, I was going with the flow of traffic!!"

Woah....

All I haveto say is the Mass pike sucks, when I was living up there my commute from Franklin to Woburn would involve me going 495 to the Mass Pike to 95 and I thought I had seen it all in Houston

You better not slow down if your taking one of the exits because if you do you're liable to have someone coming up behind you at 80+mph.

Fortunately I was only up there long enough to enjoy the traffic without the harsh winters, I don't think I could have survived if I had to deal with that as well

Yeah, i've noticed that also. They usually have a " In memory of Dale Earnhardt " decal next to their National Rifle Association sticker. Not to stereotype or anything.

I always seem to run into the fockers that drive under the speed limit in the fast lane.

I had my first feeling of actual road rage this morning when some inbred fock in his minivan was going UNDER the speed limit on a two lane road (one lane each way) and I was right behind him, and like ten cars behind me.

THEN....THEN when the road spits into two lanes each way, instead of doing the proper/normal/non-inbred thing and going directly to the slow lane so we can all pass him, his retard ass stays in the PASSING/FAST LANE.

OMG, I lost it. I floored it, went around his dumb ass and waved my arms in a general "WTF ARE YOU THINKING YOU INBRED PIECE OF CRAP" motion as I went by. And in my rearview I see two more cars pass him on the right before his hillbilly ass wakes up and "Gee Earl, guess I should be in the right lane" moseys on over to the right lane.

Fucking northern Maryland. It's all a bunch of retards... and transplants like me who have to deal with the retards.

My favorite is when these inbreeders drive next to each other like their joined at the hip Than there is no way(legally) to pass them. I sometimes wonder if these morons do this just to piss other people off.

In Illinois, they will occasionally give a slow poke a ticket for impeding the safe flow of traffic I think they should issue tickets to these "Siamese Drivers".

Here there is actually a law which requires you to stay right except to pass. More people ignore it than abide by it but nothing like California. Those folks WILL NOT move over. They'll just slam the brakes on and "brake check" you.

Yeah, I grew up in NJ. That rule is so nice because then the cops can ticket the fockers who coast in the fast lane.

And if that ever happened to me in Cali, I'd probably run the focker off the road and get out and pull an OJ Simpson face/glasses scratch. I just hope I can afford Cochrane.

The worst is when someone is pulled over with a flat or something or when there is an accident. It seems like everyone wants to see what happened. I funken hate bottle necking. After I pass that shit, I funken floor my shit and pass like twenty cars before my anger subsides.
