Ive made a thread on this before, hopefully someone can help me.

I few months back I was vaccuming and ripped a sliced wire under my seat apart. I spliced it back together and the seat wouldnt move back and forth. It reclines and moves up and down but it will not move back and forth. I thought it was the black box under the seat (relay I think). But I just replaced that and thats not the issue. Can some please help me.
Im moving to Atlanta and am driving there and would like to get this fixed before I move.

 

Id recheck your connections.

You can also jump power directly to the motor to see if the motor itself isnt fried.

 

I had the same, most of the time mecfhanism is jammed, you need to take off side cover held by two screws and spray some WD40 and move it back and forth with screw-driver to get it going.
