Cheap s--t Acura QC? Had the back heating element replaced 2X while the car was under warranty and it is out again. Don't use it that often, but still.

Mine is that way but only on the passenger side. I just keep my usage of the HI mode to a minimum and cut it completely off after the cabin temp is comfortable from the climate control. Hmm. Going to find out how much that heating element costs to replace next week, though.

First of all, this is the 2nd Generation CL discussion. Secondly, You fucking simply must need glasses or something. Did I not just state the very same fucking thing in my original post? Dammit, let me post it again so you can read it.

If ericb369's heating element went out in the back part of his driver's seat, then the same deal may happen to me in the future, hence: "Going to find out how much that heating element costs to replace next week, though."

No wonder new people don't stay here long. Some of you people are the most childish people on the internet. I've never seen such a bunch of arrogant, juvenile foolishness. Some of you are so damn eager to harrass and insult people you don't take the time to read a damn post before jumping to respond.

If you spent more time reading then posting up stupid ass comments, then you would realize that our 2nd CL's only heat up the butt section of the passenger seats.

Heres the n00b section. Feel free to browse it once it a while before your next encounter with a geo metro. ..

n00b guide

What part heats up in the heated seats?
Drivers seat: Both butt and back are heated.
Passenger seat: Only butt is heated.

whahhahahhahhahaa

the reason the passenger seat does not heat up the back has to do with the OPDS that is in the seat back of the passenger seat. of course if he had actually read the manual, he would know this :P

You know what? I've really tried being nice but since the moderators don't warn homosexual, pencil-pushing, tired, juvenile delinquent, son-of-a-bitches like dalostpinoy, YeuEmMaiMai not to harrass people but I seem to keep getting suggestive comments as if I'm talking to a damn brick wall when these ass clowns continue to harrass we'll play this game my way.

MINE IS THAT WAY BUT ONLY ON THE PASSENGER SIDE should have been what is called SELF EXPLANITORY but you two nutsacks keep explaining the OBVIOUS like you're both mentally retarded, which I'm begining to believe the both of you short attention span, hyperactive, Tourettes syndrome-having losers really are. The both of you act like you had abusive childhoods and were picked on all through public school or you wouldn't be vicariously living through this website, inadvertently seeking revenge for being treated like the geek monsters you were (and still are today) back in your adolescent years by harrassing people in Acurazine.

The both of you need about six months to a year of psychotherapy and antidepressants, Scooby Doo coloring books, water soluble markers, drool rags, a pack of fat 1st grade pencils and a drawing pad and call it a day.

Now, back to the topic at hand:

I have a pretty good repoire with an Acura specialist in town that has kept me abreast of any and everything that could go wrong or to look out for when I owned my CL2.2 and now that I've had this CL S for a while something like a faulty heating element in the driver's side seat would be of big concern since we're going to be in for a hellacious winter. If mine does go out I'd sure as hell like to know the quickest way to get the part I need and get it repaired as soon as possible. Now that I know it can go bad I'll know exactly what to do instead of sitting around wandering what the hell happened.

See this is what I'm talking about - business. The heating element in the driver's seat (back rest part) is going to cost $145.00 and that's without labor charges.

Yeah, that's real funny. Can't you see me in tears of laughter?

People should be free to interact on a website without being constantly harrassed for no apparent reason. I don't give a damn what the excuse or reason is for someone chastising and harrassing people - no one should have to be subjected to such foolishness. And I'm sure as hell not going to put up with some losers attacking me, particularly, when I've never even addressed them in their threads or anywhere else on this site.

Grrrrrr, more Internet bullying. Far from attacking or harrassing, simply pointing out that you gotta relax is all. Everyone gets their balls busted at one time or another on this site but its all in good fun.

Here's the part where you respond with your rant regarding your superiority........ ready....... go.

Anyway, my back heater is out too. I'm not spending that much to fix it because it isnt that big of a deal to me. at least I know what it is now in case I decide to fix it.

Here's a question...
If it's cold enough to use the seat heater, how do you know that the back heater doesn't work?
Obviously you would have a jacket on if it was that cold...
I'm sure that the back heater doesn't get as hot as the bottom heater.

When I go out on weekends to clubs or anything, I dont wear a jacket. I valet the car and walk right in the door so I dont really need it. I can easily tell it is not working. My ass is to the point of being on fire and my back is nothing. I remember them being equally as hot.

I would estimate it would cost about $400. It's about 4 hours labor. You would need to remove the whole seat.

Check out the 2nd Gen TL section. There's a nice write up with pics for an optional cheap try.

Nevermind, I'll save you the trouble...https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147756
