the reason he's apologizing now to 1 person is because some of you start going to the others boards and telling ppl don't buy from him. so now he's losing business and to fix that, he made up some bullshit response so we can settle down for a while. give him 1 week, if most of you didn't get your stuff, go back to the other boards and start ripping him apart. i gave him my cc# but he hasn't charged me yet. so i don't want them now.

I'm trying to be patient with the whole situation, but I do find it inexcusable that Jeff chooses to ignore his customers. Customers are like teeth-if you ignore them, they wiil go away. At the very least he should take five minutes out of his busy week and provide an update on this site. I think most of us just want to be kept up to date. It's the "not knowing" that's making a lot of folks anxious.
Speaking for myself-AP Signs has lost a customer. Not because the product is no good (can't tell, I haven't received it yet), it's because of the indifference to the customer.

I understand you guys are pissed, but chill for a bit. I originally met with this guy to have the sills measured for the first gens. He was a real nice guy and was not the type to rip everyone off. He gave me a call last nite so that we could meet up and do a test fit for the first gens. He's just been super swamped with all of the emails and calls that he's gotten. I agree that he should have given us an update or something, but just chill for a bit and you will get your sills.

My concerns with my damaged sills...
Wow, I got you pictures and everything. I straighted it out, but noticed the creased showed after being installed. That is why I wanted them replaced. If its too much trouble don't worry about it Shadow. It doesn't show that easy so it really doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that you never told me any of this info and never kept me up to date on what the deal was.
Also its going to be too hard now to get them off my stock sills. They have been on so long I rather not remove them. So don't worry about me anymore.

I just met with Jeff during lunch today. All of your sills are done and are being shipped out, so just for a bit and they will be there. This guy really isn't out to screw anyone. Plus, he wasn't supposed to reply on this board because Austin was supposed to handle that.
For the First Gens, he test fitted the set and they fit perfectly. He's going to have them engraved this week and they will be done next week.

Gunther, your sills are expected to go out on Fri. We had a tape shortage and were unable to get any more until tomorrow at which point, all the CL/TL sills will be finished. It's just been one mishap after another, I'm sorry that it's you guys that have to keep waiting. We are trying as hard as we can to get them all out though. I will email you with a UPS tracking number as soon as the sills go out. Thanks.
So I guess he's back on probation. I was in the process of cancelling.

OK, guys. I just received an email from Jeff. Basically, it says the same thing. I felt bad for the guy so I tried to be nice wording my email. He was stuck by uncontrollabled (is there such word?) problems and flooded with emails and phone calls. The only thing I could blame him is not keeping everyone updated. All he had to do is post a single message instead of writting hundreds emails

Its it still possible to order the sills, or was it a one time deal? After they get their act together do u think that they will continue producing the door sills or will they just keep them as a limited edition set.

this sounds bad guys. I didn't even order the sills and this thread is getting me angry. It's inexcusable that the sellers haven't posted here for updates. If it were me, I would dispute the charges with my credit card company and let others know about your problems with them. Send them to this forum for proof if need be.
Astro: I think your intentions are pretty admirable but I really would think twice about any physical confrontations with these guys. They could be gun toting red necks or worse...you never know. It's just not worth it.

This is the worst group-buy and internet sale ever in my life. I live in Florida and ordered them on the 11th of July, and still have not received one single thing, not an e-mail, call, or my door sills. I will never do business with these people again. Who can I talk to about getting a refund?? Today is the 18th of August and this is the most pathetic display of service that a company can show to their customers. I hate to see what the RES would be like if that ever got made and sold. If they want to be reputable, they should have better customer service provided.
