I just got my car back from the acura dealership. I took it in because it had a lot of wind noise. It also looked like my door wouldnt align properly when shut. They gave the car back to me and said they did not know how to fix it. The gap between the door and the car is off by 4mm. I have to meet with an Acura rep on the 25. Does anyone know what I can do about this, or what acura will do to fix it? I would appreciate any help. Thanks

 

that sucks dude, my trunk is misaligned, they said they couldnt do jack shit about it....i guess thats what we get for gettin a car made in ohio....

let us know what hte acura rep says...

 

My trunk was closer to the left by about 1/8th of an inch than the right side. I wonder what the accident will do to that

 

Are you serious. If I remember correctly in the HELM manual it has instructions for how to realign the trunk. This is from memory mind you I don't have the HELM manual handy at the moment.

 

That sucks, but dont they have to fix it under warranty or buy back the car?

 

it will probably have to be repaired at a body shop

 

My trunk is slight misalligned . Too lazy to bring it in just for that though. Probably get it done when I get my oil changed...
