Wait for a factory 6 speed...unless you want to dump 4-6K in a tranny swap when you get your auto... plus the 03 have the blacked out headlights, redclear tail lamps a few other little tweaks...

Hold out for a 6spd, seriously. Tranny swap will be a waste of your time and money.

A Salvage title means the car has been in a bad wreck. You could run into a lot of problems with a salvage car. Not to mention there are not tomany banks that will finace a salvage car.

I'll sell you my 01 NBP on black with nav, 155K miles the past 100K have been all highway miles. I got about $4k in mods and the car is in perfect shape. I'd take around $7,500 for it:

Comptech Headers
Comptech Sways
Comptech Icebox
Comptech Trans Cooler
Neuspeed Strut bar
UR Crank Pulley
HR OE springs
Tokico Illumina Shocks
Outlaw TB & Plenum Spacers
Polyfilled Mounts
Polyurethane Sway bar bushings
Moog sway bar end links & Tie rod ends
Tinted windows
Brand new Bridgestone Turanza Serenitys- $700 tires w/alignment

I think thats it, I can't believe that it was actually hard for me to remember all the mods I have done to this car

Also, I don't really care if I sell my car, but miles don't really matter on a Honda if it is taken care of.

A 70K car will probably feel the same as a 120K mile car but there is going to be a big price difference and thats where you find your deals.

What matters the most is how well a car is taken care of, a car with 50K more miles on it can feel better than one with lesser miles.

HOT DAMN! a type-S with 39,000 miles for 8 grand? Must be a salvage/reconditioned title cuz that sounds almost too good to be true...

it doesn't have to be in a bad wreck to have had a salvage title. one of my Legend's was totalled with bumper damage. and its in MINT condition.

A car with a "repaired" title (which means it had a salvage but was repaired) has the same standing as a clean title.

I sent him a PM about my car. I MAY be selling. If I get the $ I want.

And in FL you can not register a salvage titled car.

i don't think anyplace you can register a with a salvage title. usually when ppl say it has a salvaged title, they are really talking about a repaired title in alot of cases from what i've seen.

also, i'll take back my words from earlier, you can't get a loan on a salvaged title car but you can on a repaired title. just like insurance, repaired=good as clean, just not "clean"

I think you should listen to everyone here. Just wait to get the 6MT.
I got a 01 CLS with 58K in January. But I wish I had waited for a 6mt.

Also I don't think I would get a salvage title car, or a repaired car. You just don't know who did the repair. It could be shady, and unsafe. Even more dangerous if you plan any kind of high speed driving. Just my I would not buy a salvaged car, or repaired car.

yea if you woould have settled for an 8K$ auto-tragic. You would have had to pay and extra 3K for a tranny eventually. If not way more. 6MT FTMFW
