cruised up to orange county from san diego yesterday. traffic wasn't too bad and i drove between 70-80 on the way out and 75-80 later that night on the way home. pulled off the freeway to fill up and check gas mileage. 29.5 mpg baby! after 6 years this car still rocks.

Over a year later and after hearing from many people "oh the new car effect will wear off", I still love this car more and more than when I got it. Even after the tranny went. It's Great on gas when cruising (I've gotten over 27 mpg in mostly suburban areas when I stayed out of vtec) and when I need the power, it flys. And its confortable as shit, with everything I could want.

i read your cl thread. do it!

farthest east i've ever been is colorado.

i've done some of the performace upgrades such as i/h, springs, sways and shocks. i'm going to start work on the sound system and get a mount for my ipod next.

myacura, what year is yours?

tcm, i'm also on my 2nd tranny

Thats why I'm dumping all these new mods on it, instead of getting the new Type-S. Just has a soul about it.

Yeah, I've looked at a number of new ones and can't find a car that really grabs me. Except for the really bad brakes I absolutely love everything about my CL-S. Over a hundred K, will I feel he same at 200K? Ask me in 3-4 years.

after 3 yrs of having this car, I am still not bored with it. Usually I get bored after a couple of years, but the love is staying strong for this car. Now let's see if it loves me back after 100k miles.

Damn, I miss my CL. Mileage is the same and the I35 is actually more comfortable, but I miss my CL.

Maybe one day I'll be back with that 3rd pedel mod GM always talk about.

I like my CL and I've had it for 3.5 years. I am think it's time to move on to something else. My next ride will definitely be manual as well.
