I have had this problem since I got the car. The passenger side air bag is popped up on the right hand side. I took it in to get fixed and they said all CLs and TLs have this problem and if they replaced it the same thing would happen. Please look at these and see if you have a similar problem.

I have the same problem...and to make it worse, my airbag cover doesn't quite match the rest of the dash. It is a little darker in color.

I had the same problem when I got my car in March, 2000. Mine Had (3) corners that were raised. I took it back to the dealer and told him that this was unacceptable on a $30,000 car! It was replaced under warranty(swapped out of another CL-S in dealer stock). The front corner nearest the A pillar still sticks up a little, but this is hard to see when you are sitting in the car. I was going to get them to replace it a second time, but after looking at about (10) CL's on the lot, mine looked better than (8) of them. An Acura representative said that this was a result of cost cutting on Acura's part. The Legends were able to be adjusted at each corner, and ours is one piece. If you really want to get pissed off, take a look at the Accord air bag and how well they fit. If I were you I would check out the other CL's and TL's at your dealer and if they look better I would whine until they replace it.

yeah, mine's the same way, too. i also have these weird 'lumps' in my steering wheel bag. i was told that it was 'normal'.
i'm hoping that the big A is paying attention to all this and will correct on the '02's...hey, where the hell are we meetin on sat??

Mine looked the same so I took it out, put a hinge there and now keep my lunch in the new "glove box." Beats me - I'm too busy looking at the road to notice shit like this!

Hmmm...I haven't seen my car in a month, but i will definitely check it out when i get back to the states. Here's another question for you guys...

My ceiling upholstry is very loose in the back. The part where it touches the top of the back windshield is not completed sealed to the roof top, and it dangles. I took it into the dealer, and they kept my car for 2days. When I finally got my car back, I checked their work, and it was still the same. Does anyone else notice this problem? you'll have to climb into the rear seats and look straight up at where the ceiling upholstry ends, and the top back windshield. I yelled at the dealership, and all he could say was "the rest of the CL's are like that". I havnet had time to go complain again, but this is unacceptable.

Does anyone else have this prob?

Mine is just barely raised towards the seats, the two corners near the windshield are noticeably raised, and go down with I press on those two corners. Not knowing what is unders it to hold it down, I don't know what to do about it..

Mine is this way too, riased just a little on the upper right corner. I noticed it the day after I bought the car. As long as it doesn't detach, I'm fine with it.

Same problem here.

I took it back, and they said they replaced it....at lease my workorder said they did.

I don't have a problem taking it back a second time, but their loaner car is a problem. They loaned me an integra (no offense, i use to own an '88). After 10months of 260hp, it's hard to drive a car with less.
