Does the TL-S have the same gearing as the CL-S ?

I'm wondering if our TL-S brothers have the same problems at us at top-speed (that invisible wall) and how it takes forever to reach 150mph once you shift into 4th.

yeah, they have the same gear ratio...
but check this... the inspire Type-S in japan has them slightly different... In fact they're better only in the 4th and 5th gear ranges... exactly what you're looking for right? haha

When you say better, I assume you mean lower?
Lower 3rd and 4th would be awesome.

why does the Inspire have a different tranny...

Ours is made in Japan also.

Damn americans and their need for MPG.

IM all for a clean enviroment... but we could have a weak ass 5th gear for cruising and MPG... why have both weak 4th and 5th.
