Does tint come in other percentages except for 50, 35 and 20?

It always seems like 50% is not dark enough and 35% is a bit too dark and, in MD, techincally illegal.
Does anyone make like a 40-45% tint to bridge this gap. It seems silly to me that someone wouldn't since 35% is illegal in many states.
I know the odds of you getting ticketed for 35% are next to nothing, but I'm still asking.

What?? I though 35% is legal in MD. I thought MD-35% all around, Virginia - 35% back, 50% front. Even 35% is illegal in MD, you won't get caught. VA tint law is lighter than MD, but I have 20% all around. I never got caught, but it's little risky.
Just get 35% all around, you won't never never get caught!
Do search for state law, check again for MD tint law cause I thought it's 35% all around.

Yes, 35% is OK, but when you add that to the factory tint of about 7 or 8% it is actually illegal.
A very reputable shop did my metallic tint on my CL and at the time they would not do any 35% tint because it was technically illegal. Since then they now have a waiver for you to sign if you want them to do 35% tint. Crazy, isn't it.
I can't believe a waiver would mean anything in a court of law--they KNOW they are performing an illegal service and technically one cannot enter into an illegal contract.

I would never go darker then 35% on the sides in PA because legally they don’t allow ANY tint on the side windows.
I’ve been lucky running 35% on my last three cars, but I got pulled over all the time when I had 20% on my Shelby-Z & GLH-S.
When it's dark & cloudy, 20% looks like 5%.
