Does this happen to anyone else?

Whenever it rains and I come to a complete stop or close enough to one I get all this steam coming from the front wheels. Has this or does this happen to anyone else? It's kinda weird that our brakes get that hot.

you put water on something hot, it evaporates. nothing to be worried about.

try washing the ride after driving it normally. You still get the 'steam'.

This happens to me when conditions are right.
I often wonder if it helps contribute to our Rotor warping problems.
Cold water hitting HOT metal isn’t good.

I noticed we both have Bersaglio Rims. Maybe it’s inherent in the design.
If you notice when you wash the car there’s a lip where the water collects and can’t run out.
This is probably where water collects when t rains.
WHen you barke it is splashed out onto the hot metal.
It used to be a pain to dry this out after every wash, but now I just blow it out with my Leaf Blower.

i was hoping you'd post cause i was thinking it could be the design of the rim. i noticed that too about where the water accumulates. it could be that but i still dont get how it can happen so much.

It doesn't matter if your brakes are bod or good, or correctly sized, whatever, stop a few times from 30 and ANY rotor will evaporate water.
