If you do come across any settings please tell me. I might get my V-AFC tuned in about 2 weeks though.

A VAFC like the Apex-i unit is used to help tune an engine that has been modified. Now I am sure you know this but to date I have not heard of anyone using one of these actually gain any power from them.As it stands the factory settings in the car are very good.I would advise against lowering the VTEC engagement point as we have seen several instances where this caused the check engine light to illuminate.Unless you are sporting a big set of cams a turbo/supercharger or other heavy mods this device will largely confuse your computer more than it will actually help.Jens

You should dyno the sucker. It is going to be really hard, especially with the minimal gains to get the settings. (Also, do you have headers, CAI, etc...)

I believe Astroboy still has the unit on the car -- post to him (just a thought)

Wow I was expecting more gains than that. I thought people with TL-P like Tann were getting more substantial gains. Guess I'll save my money for the headers and sways which are in the works right now. Parke Ave here I come . Thanx for being straight up Jens

There was also a guy we haven't seen in a while named "BeatYaAll", he also had the V-AFC installed. I think I can even give you the dyno graph (he had heavy 18" wheels and no cold air intake. The comparison is V-AFC vs. headers [at least that was I thought]):

http://www.gpvisa.com/TLstuff/Image_Fr.pdf

HP with V-AFC = 224.1
HP w/o V-AFC = 220.4

You can see that the HP/$$ "Figure of merit" is rather low!
