Does anyone have this radar detector....

I cant afford the V1 or Escort... so I am looking at cheaper options. I heard that the PNI Sensoro Traveller is just a step below these radar detectors, and is excellent. I can pick it up locally for $100. Does anyone have this radar and how much do you like it?

Thank you, but that is not what i was looking for. V1 and Escort are not an option. I have heard that the pni traveller, is excellent and actually outperforms the bel 985 for ka. I want to know if anyone actually has any experience with the pni sensoro traveller.

Does the local shop offer a return policy?

Can you try it out for 30 days and see how it performs?

I doubt you'll get many replies from people here who have had experience with it. It's a V1/8500 crowd here.

First choice: Valentine One
Second Choice: Escort 8500
Third Choice: Drive slower
Fourth Choice: Buy a cheap detector that probably won’t work

GO for it...
But, why ask for advice if you already have your mind set?

And what do I know anyway.
I’ve only been driving for 20-Years and using various V1 detectors since they first started selling them back in 1991.

Not telling you what to get. From my experiences in S FL. You do not want to rely on a cheap detector. I see more, & hear more people who get pulled over cause they have this false sense of security from a poor detector. While the cheaper units may be ok on HW trips, the pigs on motorcycles in gangs of 5-10 that shoot laser/radar in Palm beach & in Boca will get your ass. I had a cheap detector, & as a result got 1 speeding ticket. Now I have something else. Yeah they cost money, but think of it as insurance even 1 save could pay for it. Christmas is coming. Try to get it as a gift, or use some christmas money to buy it, & just save.
