Does anyone have this problem?

when my car is cold in the morning, my steering wheel controls are all f*cked up! when i hit the volume up or down button it will change the station...and it will do this until it's warm in the car. let me now if anyone else is having a problem like this. thanx

i think someone else posted something regarding this just a day or 2 ago....

but it shouldnt do that (duh) regardless if the car is cold or not. Just take it back to the dealer and hopefully they'll be able to "duplicate" the problem

it would be funny if they (dealer) tried to blame it on the car not being fully warmed up............... no wait, that would be sad and pathetic

yeah imagine that...that's just an added feature with the 03 models!

well, the oil is at the bottom of the engine when the engine is cold. It has to has to be pumped up to the top of the motor so that it starts flowing everywhere. So, it is possible that the until the oil starts flowing your buttons are not lubricated as yet and that is why they don't work right away. Once the engine is warmed up the oil is flowing everywhere and that is why your buttons work then. :P

:thumbsdn: i'm not going to accept that with a $30k+ vehicle. i'll be taking it to the dealership pretty soon.
