Does anyone HAVE NOS???

Why is this topic not discussed more often? It seems that for $800-$1000 you can have NOS installed and safely do 40 or 50 shots for significant power. My questionas are...

1) WHO HAS IT????!!
2) Is it safe to use w/o ANY other modifications and if so what is the max shot to be safe.
3) best buy?

I am so interested here, someone's got to have it on their CLS... please speak up!

I'm not sure if anyone has it or not, but I think people's major concern is doing tranny damage even with just a 50 shot. You're probably okay, but I'd guess a lot of people don't want to take the chance. I know I don't, but then I don't really care if my car is any faster than it is right now.

[VTEC]TL on the TL board has a 75 shot Zex wet system installed. Head over to www.acura-tl.com and you can PM him for details.

Get wet shot. Vex is the best because it's electronic, and so it's the safest. I think you could do a 50 shot w/o and mods. CLPower has it. There is also a guy on honda-acura.net with a integra with nothing built and he is squeezing at least a 100 shot. He says he does any shot to win. I feel bad for him.

you said about the zex system. The zex system is cool and all that but relativly new compared to the NOS system. And please dont get NOS confused with NO2

Do a search online for ZEX or Venom. You should come upon their website. If CLPower is spraying without being built I think we could do it. Umm...wet shot would be safest becuase it adds the n.o.s and fuel so you dont go dry. That is safest since we dont have bigger injectors or pumps.

He means that NOS has been in business ~20 years so you should look at them 1st.

NOS is a company that makes applications for cars/trucks. People say the term "nos" to represent the use of NO2. There are different companies out there that make applications for cars like Zex, Venom, and so on. Got it?

^^Someone correct me if im wrong with the NO2

The thing about NOS that I dont like is you dont have the power on tap. When the bottle runs out, you are going down.

The gauge shows you how much you have left. Plus you can always wire 2 bottles together so when one runs out u jus turn on the other one

Just onver on H-A.net and the ZEX is praised but it calculates crank HP not to the wheel so if u dial in 50 u only get 30 hp to the wheel. NX is good

I just thought that I'd point out that it is di-nitrogen oxide (or nitruous oxide) and not nitrogen di-oxide. Meaning that the compound that you're referring to is N2O and not NO2. Just being picky
Nitrous is used for many other things other than making slow cars go fast. Such as a propellant for whipped cream, an old anesthetic for dentist and a pass time for teen age huffies.
