Does Acura Car Care Service end with warranty?

Does the dialup and towing services end when the warranty ends? I can't seem to find this information anywhere in my documentation.

4 year standard warranty...

I guess I am assuming that our transmission warranty doesn't change anything.

Are you referencing the TLC that comes with the car? I haven't seen anywhere that says it ends after the warranty. I thought ti was for the life of the car. It wouldn't be bad for them to do this, it might make it easier for people to decide on the car.

It ends once the 4/50,000 warranty ends.

However, if you're disabled because of a transmission failure, I believe you're covered. Although, it may be a reimbursement kinda deal, rather than an up-front kinda deal.

Time for AAA, man.

It follows your warrenty It ends with the standard warrenty unless you purchased an extended warrenty, then it continues until that warrenty ends. This doesn't include any of those third party warrentys, only the ACURA warrenty which is purchased through a dealership.

Yes you can purchase an extended warrenty after you have purchased the car. You will incure no additional charge up to 2yrs or 24,000 miles. After that the price goes up depending on your dealer.

I have researched the hell out of the extended warrenty, and I am still undecided if I want it. It costs ~$1200 and extends the TLC, but that 1200 could be used for other repairs or mods. Also $1200 is alot less than one major repair.

Go here: http://hondaacurawarrantiesatspringfieldmotorcars.com

They are the only ones besides your local Acura dealer that can offer a certified Acura Care warranty.
I wouldn’t go with any other “third party” warranty because those places are going out of business all the time.

Here are the current prices on a 2003 CL-S if purchased with 24-Months or 24,000 miles of original sale.

5 Year / 60,000 Miles $570
5 Year / 75,000 Miles $655
5 Year / 100,000 Miles $830
6 Year / 75,000 Miles $765
6 Year / 100,000 Miles $940
7 Year / 75,000 Miles $1,005
7 Year / 100,000 Miles $1,035

Prices are based on a $50.00 deductible.
For a $0 (zero) deductible only an additional $175.

You can also go to http://www.curryacuracare.com/

I got my 5 year/100K for a little over 1000 with $0 deductible. I bought it when my car had a little more than 46000 miles...

That’s good to know.
My dealer wanted like 1500 or MORE last time I checked.

Don’t forget local sales TAX too.
This place is in NJ so no tax unless you’re in NJ

I just checked that link you posted and they have better prices then the place I linked.
Plus I gave them my E-Mail and they sent me a coupon code good for 75-bucks till the end of January.

I can get a 0-deductible 7/75,000 warranty for 865 or a 7/100,000 for 1115.
That sounds too good to pass up.

I will probably just go with the 7/75 because I’m only averaging about 800-miles a month.
At that pace I won’t even be at 70,000 after 7-years and I save 250-bucks up front.
