I remember seeing this some where, might have been at an auto show or some tv program, a viper engine in a motorcycle, SICK!

One of the coolest concepts ever made. 0-60 in 2.6 seconds... top speed (theoretical) of 300mph.

It's funny b/c I was looking through the Nieman Marcus catalog around Christmas and they are getting one or two to sell. They're also asking $550k. Pretty sick. The only thing that sucks is that the 10 they made are collectors pieces only.. they do not come with the drivetrain.

that thing is awesome.

juniorbean, they really dont have a drivetrain? so it's pretty much 100% show and absolutely no go? would it even be possible to put in a drivetrain and make it work?

Yeah, it's pretty much a half million dollar show piece!! It said right in the description that it's not street legal and does not include a drivetrain. I'm sure some billionaire will buy one and figure out a way to get a drivetrain... if it's possible.. .which may not even be the case b/c I believe only one was made drivable, and that was the concept you saw at the shows.

Whadya mean no drivetrain? It has a V10 Viper engine in it. A guy rode it onto the show platform in Detroit. Practical? No way! Street legal? No way!.

Did you watch Monster Garage the other night when he turned a diesel 18 wheeler cab into a trike?

I still don't understand how it would turn.

It has 4 wheels.

I don't think these are street legal.. I remember reading about it on one of the car magazines.

They aren't street legal but they turn by a combination of turning the front wheels and a slight lean. Imagine dumping one of those!

correct... that was the only one ever built to be riden. The 10 that are being produced for sale to the private sector will NOT have a drivetrain.
