Dodge Holiday Bowl Speed Festival (San Diego)
Anyone interested in going on sunday??
http://www.montereyhistoric.com/coronado.html
HE SIXTH ANNUAL Dodge Holiday Bowl Speed Festival, presented by North Island Financial Credit Union, formerly known as the Chrysler-Jeep Classic Speed Festival, will celebrate its 5th Anniversary once again the weekend of October 12-13, 2002 at Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado, California. The Speed Festival, a presentation of the Holiday Bowl, is patterned after the world famous Monterey Historic Automobile Races at Laguna Seca Raceway. Due to the events of September 11, the 2001 event was cancelled.
Staged on the runways and taxiways of NAS North Island with Navy aircraft and ships in the background, the Dodge Holiday Bowl Speed Festival will feature over 225 of the world's top racing machines from years gone by competing on a spectator-friendly 1.6 mile course. These vintage racecars are chosen to compete on the basis of their historical significance and certified authenticity. Some of the cars on the track are valued in the millions of dollars.

i would love to go. Maybe we can get some people together? I'm in Marina del Rey. Haven't done the drive yet though since i'm new to the area. Just need to work out the logistics, but i'd love to see some old Porsche 917s or BMW 320i or CSL's racing around.
