Do it yourself Oil Change
Do it yourself Oil Change
Seeing that I just got the Car, what's the Best: Ramps or Jack for a Do-It-yourselfer-Oil change for this Car. Can the Job be done with Front Ramps ?
Thanks

i use jack stands when i change the oil in the cl-s. only thing u gotta worry about is if ur car is lowered...then u gotta find the right stands that'll fit under it. if u use ramps...make sure u wont scrape. i would so i opted not to use them...
I use ramps. Since my car is lowered, it scrapes. But I found a neat trick, my garage has a 1" lip when pulling in, so if I back my car into the garage, place the ramps at the edge against the lip, then it clears just perfect with no scraping.
