Do you need a a new chamber kit?

Do you need a new chamber kit if you lowered your car? What is the main purpose of it? To have smoother steering? Where can I find it and what is a good price for it? Thanks!

A camber kit is required if you lower your vehicle past, oh about 1.75"...this is in major part due to the double wishbone suspension. The purpose of a camber kit is allow your car to be re-aligned properly. The factory set up has a little play dialed into the car, but after that, you start to experience negative camber. A car out of alignment will pull, and tend to wear out the inisde of your tires...and rough steering is a possible side effect. You can by the camber kits from Tim at www.autocarparts.com
Tim has one of the best prices...not worth the time to go shop around to save $5.

So it's pretty much the same as an alignment kit, right?

Kinda sorta....I guess if an alignment kit allows you to adjust your camber....that's what it is..
