i think it's perfect, that is exactly what i want for the cl, the other lip spoiler was too small. that one is just right.

You mentioned another lip spoiler. Where can I find a pic of that. Cause I want a lip spoiler like the one on the back of the A6 I think that looks really nice. Do you know if we can put those on, or something like that. Anthony

I agree, they both look good in different ways. It definitely makes the sedan look way more agressive imo.

VERY subtle and sexy!!! That looks pretty tight. I'd really like to find something like that for my CL.

personally(this is my own thoughts) i don't like lip spoilers. I like more of the stock spoiler. or something like the off the civics on Fast and Furious. but if you like it more power to ya.
the only thing is online the spoiler price installed was like 600-700 bucks. a little pricey. not to complain or anything just i remember for my accord(which i have a factory spoiler on it) it was only 400-450 but that was 7 almost 8 years ago.

OK well thanks for you thoughts. BUT i hate those civic spoilers that are higher than the car is!! This lip spoiler isnt expensive, its $199 without it painted, and maybe 150 bucks to paint it. SO its not expensive at all..Plus the lip spoiler is easy to install yourself. Hey do you have any pics of your accord?

The Lip spoiler is exactly what i want for my CL-S...i do think that that one is a bit too big...something a bit more subtle would do me just fine....looks a lot nice than the factory spoiler for sure..that just looks out of place to me.
Just my opinion..

You have to use the screws AND tape. I tried at without the tape because its a pain in the butt positioning the spoiler if the tape contacts the trunk because you cant slide it around anymore. It made the install a little more difficult. Anywayz when I did that the center of the spoiler actually popped up in the air the next day and was not in contact with the trunk lid. So I had to unscrew it, remove the backing and let the adhesive do its job.

I bought the spoiler from Tim at www.autocarparts.com, not to be confused with the infamous and crappy carparts.com

so im guessing that tape alone would do the job??

Over time I think it would be too weak, and that it is really there to keep it flush against the car not to really keep it on the car, I think thats what the screws are for.
