Do not laugh, Is this a silly way....

Do not laugh, Is this a silly way to flush the ATF.

Okay, A regualar drainage will need 2.9 Qrt of ATF. So let us say we need to replace 10 Qrts of ATF.

Is this "SAFE" to do:

1) Drain the ATF as you do for normal oil change.
2) Refill the 2.9 Qrt ATF
2) while the CLS is lifted, start the CLS put it in D5 and have it spin wheels at 10 MPH, and WHILE doing so, keep pouring the remaining of the 10 Qrt ATF to replace the ATF oil being ejected from the drain hole....

Is it Safe, please do not laugh, I need to educate myself

Note:
I am thinking that spoilage of ATF fluid would be very bad...
The ATF fuild has a "refill" bolt instead of ATF refill cap.
I guess we need some kind of an ATF pump.

OKAY, i WILL BE DOING THIS :
quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The "flush procedure is as follows...(per "Acura Service News")
1)Raise vehicle on a lift.
2)Drain the ATF and replace with Honda ATFZ1
(pn 08200-9001).
3)Start the engine, press the brake pedal, shift into D4 or D5, then release the brake pedal.
4)Raise the engine speed to 2500rpm.
5)If the A/T does not shift past 2nd gear, keep the engine @ 2500rpm, and shift from D4 to D5 or neutral, then back to D4 or D5.
6)Count the # of shifts to make sure the A/T shifts through all forward gears and make sure the torque converter goes into lock up. With each shift the engine speed drops and then rises again. When the torque converter goes into lock up the engine speed drops slightly and then stays @ that speed.
7) Take your foot off the accelerator pedal, press the brake pedal to stop the wheels from turning. Move the shift lever to reverse then neutral.
8)Repeat steps 4 through 7 four more times.
9)Repeat steps 2 through 7 two more times.
10)Drain the A/T fluid, and install a new drain plug washer.
11) Refill the A/T with Honda ATFZ1 (pn 8200-9001).

dude, you buy a 35k dollar ride, and then want to save 100 bux by doing it yourself when you don't know wtf you are doing (assumption) seems like bad news to me.

Tell you what, why don't you shut the fuck up first

First, do you know that it is NOT possible to do tranny flush as there is no cooler lines to tap.
Second, It is not about the 100 bux, you ass hole, it is about learning how to do it right.

I would say take this:
