DIY: PCV Replacement?
I am trying to replace my PCV valve for regular maintanence while I'm already under the hood cleaning the IACV. Is there a how to anywhere? I don't even know where the PCV is located

The PCV valve is on the back, upper part of the intake manifold. Is yours a type-s? I think it'd be in a similar location for both engines

does it really need to be replaced? I heard it rarely clogs unless there a problems or something.

In a higher mileage car its recommend you replace them. I did an oil catch can for my car and had to buy a new one in order to get the hoses to work well.

Very easy. It's on the back valve cover in a little hole on the drivers side. There's a hose that runs along the back valve cover. Follow it & the end is the PCV.

I guess I'll do it as part of my 105k service then.
