the only problem with that is, when you're painting the housings..theres a detail many people leave out. in the 01-02 housings, the blinker well is one piece with the rest of the housings, meaning if you want to keep the blinker wells chrome (like in the 03s), you're gonna have to tape off the parts you want chrome, and it can be pretty hard to get accurate, not to mention theres always the risk of stripping the chrome (which by the way, is ridiculously easy to do)...what i suggest is tape off the blinker well as best u can, leave the amber part in for now, and then paint the housing black. this way the amber reflector will serve as a guard to keep the paint from getting sprayed onto the chrome where the wedge bulbs are. kinda confusing but lemme know if u have any questions. also, i found that weak electrical tape tends to strip the chrome less, so try that out.
So, I just got a free pair from pimpinwhitecls and I noticed the insides of the turn signals have been painted black. Is this going to 'cause an issue? Maybe if I don't clear them and just repaint them to look like '03's it won't make a difference...
Then again, maybe since it's painted in there, if I put in the amber diffuser from my old lights, it might have a "smoked" appearnace??
