Dippin' into Second Gen Territory! :)

Just got back from Capitol Raceway in Crofton, MD. These are my first runs with nitrous (55-shot). I had no idea what ETs to expect, but I was hoping to get into the 14's.

Mission Accomplished!

I was running with everything you see in my signature (including a 55 lb speaker box, spare tire, jack, 18s, and 1/2 tank of gas, full tire pressure (it must have been in the low 80s to high 70s during the runs).

I ran a worst of 14.9721 @ 93.9885 mph (#2 of 5) to my best ET (scanned below--#4 of 5). The best trap speed was 14.9202 @ 94.5517 mph (#1 of 5).

I had a best reaction time on my last run (#5 of 5) of 0.6028.

I had a best 60 FT on the fastest run (#4 of 5) of 2.2427.

Overall, I am very pleased!

Next month: 75-shot; bottle warmer; stock wheels; and everything out of the trunk!!!!!!

good job Rick. That was my guess on what you would run with nitrous (14.7). I think with the 75 shot and everything else your going to do with it you should be down around 14.3. Good Luck.

good times...

money is probably a factor here...but you should really open up the whole exhaust before going for a bigger shot...also, do you have a tranny cooler? that would probably be a grand idea to keept the tranny working...just some suggestions

I was there when he ran, actually, on the track right behind him to run next in line!

I am so happy, makes me think of the possibilities!

Also, on one of the runs, he smoked a Maxima! It's all on papaer and witnessed by many.

Would running an open pipe with a 75 shot help out? That way you have maximum flow possible. I thought a lot more people did this at the track?? Am I just mis-informed?
