i have the car 1 day and allready have a f--cking ding has this bad luck happened to anyone else

 

DAMN!!! what happened brova? Was it self inflicted? Couple weeks into owning my TLS I accidently scratched the bottom part of the door with the hose nozzle I was using to wash it.

 

I have at least like 6 dings... which I hate you get those because of no fault of yours...

 

I had mine for a week before I got a bunch of paint chips. Tomarrow I go in for the Clear Bra, because I am tired of having to consantly worry about getting chips.

I gouged the shit out of one of my wheels the first week....buy my service advisor at the time wrote it up as warranty work!

 

I feel for you. When I bought my black 2001 CLS in May of 2000, I dinged it the second day I had it. I was backing out of a long narrow shared driveway with other cars all around me and backed into another car with my left rear fender. Needless to say, I felt very sick about it. Cost me about $400 to fix.

I have since traded it in for an anthracite 2003 CLS 6sp.

 

not even 6 months old and my cousin regulated the rear bumper....i feel ur pain

 

bro PM me I know the man that will make the whole panel look like new...believe me he took out 5 dings from my fender in 20 mins. He is the master only works on Ferraris and Porcshes and only $150 a panel.. the best

Second day I had mine some guy with a car full of people taps my rear end at a light. I get out and start yellin at him. He gets freaked out and he's like it looks ok. I was like shut up, i'll tell you if it's ok. No dings, jus a lil scratch, hardly noticeable. I stand there for about 5 mins lecturing him about the importance of safety and road rules and to fuckin pay attention to his driving.

 

I've been very lucky with my CLS..one really small one that you can't even see....however, 9 hours after I took delivery of my 95 GSR (brand new), a bus BACKED OVER me in downtown Boston, crushing the entire nose of the car. My 98 GSR got 4 huge dings on the RR QP in the first week I had it....I feel your pain.

 

thanks guys for the stories it sucks but what are we going to do if it was up to me id bring the car inside my house with me lol

 

My car got keyed after 6 days. Talk about shit luck.

 

I got rear-ended at 9 days and about 700 miles on the clock. Luckily I only had bumper damage.

It's just part of owning and USING your car. I've accepted that no matter how I care for it, some asshole will not think twice about hurting it.

You can always just park it in your garage and never drive it...but what's the fun in that?
