Different warranties on tint
hey, i really want to get tint tomorrow. but i forgot to ask what brand of tint they have. they told me they have a 3 year warranty and a lifetime warranty. just get the lifetime warranty? it is $145 and $185 respectively. does the 3 year warranty just use lower quality tint or what? can someone fill me in.....i dont' want purple tint after 2 years or something!

Get Lifetime Warranty ONLY!!! Most every place out there has a lifetime warranty; I'm surprised that this place offers a defined period warranty. If you think the tint may be a problem, you may want to make sure the place has been in business for a while. A lifetime warranty does you no good if they go out of business next month.
As for brand, stick with LLumar, Sunguard, or Formula One.

Usually the ones with a dye in it will be limited warranty. Semi Metalics will have a longer, and full metalic will be lifetime.

They most likely use the same tint, but just different warranty periods. Definately go for the lifetime because if anything goes wrong, they will fix it.

the best tint you can buy is the 3m tint, lifttime warranty.
So many people think they are from the dealer they look so clean.
trust me you wont regret it.
I payed 189 total with tax .
Looking at other peoples tints and mine and you can see a big diffrence quality of the tint color . I will try to post some pictures.

Another big thing is having the back window done in 1 piece (sometimes they split it in two)....and the other is to have the tint come to the top of the front windows (someplaces leave a 1/2" line untinted and it looks cheap in my opinion)
