Different Exhaust Options?

Heya fellas! Listen...What are the different options out there for a different exhaust system for my CL-S? What I want is something that will be throaty sounding but not too loud! The type of business that I am in, I have to drive cliebnts around and have to remain somewhat professional in whatever I do. Any suggestions?????

You could get a set of Comptech mufflers and get the quiet tip inserts.

How much do the comptech mufflers sound without the inserts?? Is it a loud grumble or is it just a nice growl?

They are pretty loud at low rpms. Some people have posted sound clips.

I recently got the CompTech mufflers installed. It is not too loud. It gets more audible when you step in to it, but fairly quiet at high speed. I've heard that the optional tip inserts quiet it down. If you get them, make sure you are happy with the system alignment. Also, please note that the 3 1/2" openings are outside dimensions and the actual opening is 3". Quality is excellent.

personally i want to get exhaust. But for a price like comptech... i wouldn't get comptech.... they only axle back too....I want to get brands like Greddy, HKS, Apexi... if i were to pay 600-700+ plus with those brands other than Comptech i can do a custom piping cat back as well for maybe 100-200 more

That wouln't do much for you except maybe be a little noisier, unless that's what you want. If you want a boot in the ass, get headers.

If your worried about sound being too loud...I think the Comptech and Dragers are not louder than one or the other. The Dragers do have a much more bassy sound to it and can get annoying to people who are not used it. I would get the Dragers if this is your weekend car or you don't have any clients to impress unless they were car enthusics (sp).
