does anyone know if the 02 TL type S motor is different from the 03 CL type S 6 spd?

someone said the head and the throttle body was different and I didn't believe him

 

the throttle bodys are different, at least the part numbers are different

the heads might be different, since they also use different part numbers

the engine block may be different too, both have different part numbers

 

yea what is what i don't get... it all says different part numbers but could it be different part numbers and actually be the same part?

 

The 6 Speed throttle body doesn't have VSA. They are different part numbers for a reason.

 

Except for this, they are the same.

 

ok cuz we sold a motor to somebody that has a 03 cl type 6 spd and the motor is from an 02 tl type s with only 13k miles on it

 

vsa and Tb are two seperate units

 

oh wells i guess i just gotta wait to see if the customer will return the motor then
