Did this car belong to a member here?

It's a gray on black 2003 Acura 3.2CL Type-S w/ a 6 speed manual that was originally purchased from Santa Monica Acura. It is currently for sale at a used car dealership in Reno, NV. I put a down payment on it and will be driving down there on black friday to check it out and close the deal if everything looks copasetic. Just wondering if anyone on here used to own it so I could get some more background info on the car and what it's life might have been like so far.
Thanks, and BTW this is my first post. I live in the Pacific NW for any other members in my neck of the woods. Looks like I've stumbled on to a pretty good site. If i buy the car, I'll prolly be on here quite often.
Oh, and are there any common problems w/ these cars that I should be on the look out for? I'm looking for something very reliable that I don't have to constantly repair. Do you folks consider these 2nd gen CL's to be very reliable?
Thanks again.
They are selling it for a ridiculously low price of $8999! Which had me pretty concerned initially. However, it has a clean, detailed carfax, and the dealer's explanation about why he is selling it so cheap, is backed up by the carfax. It has 79K miles and the last owner had it repo'd so the dealer was able to get it real cheap at an auction. I'm still a little concerned that the last owner was a deadbeat that may have abused it, hate to stereotype cause in this economy they may have just gotten laid off or something, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, hence the reason for my inquiry. On the good side, the original owner and the second owner, both got all the regular scheduled maintenance and checks done at Acura dealers, namely Santa Monica Acura. So I'm cautiously hoping that I've found myself an amazing deal on a good car.
Good luck with the purchase it seems like a good deal if everything checks out. I think the first thing you should do after purchase it is lower that thing unless you like the 4X4 look.
Yeah, I can't stand those wheels, and I've already been looking into coilover kits, or piecing my own together. You can get struts, springs, threaded sleeves and perches separately for a whole lot less than what the good kits sell for. And that way you have the option of picking the brand of struts and spring rates that you want. The only thing left is figuring out a strut top plate if oem won't work w/ the springs you choose. i was looking into doing this w/ my current DD, cause i know of others who have done it, but i just never had the time or money.
With the car in neutral, running and the door open, push the clutch in and hold it, then release it slowly and listen for any change in sound, whirring, grinding sounds (they may be faint). This is the sign of a bad throwout bearing. Also make sure it doesnt chatter when pulling smoothly away in first gear, which can be clutch abuse or a broken motor mount. The motor mounts are the weak part of these cars. I've changed 2 on my 01 auto and I drive like a grandpa.
