He was in front of me going slowly so I got close to him but he refused to move over. Then he thought he'd show me he was a man and floored it but I easily kept up with him. It was a recent model, maybe new, but he had it debadged so I didn't know what engine he had. Probably the smaller motor because why else remove the numbers?

Anyway he was a yuppie and had two yuppie buddies in the car with him. I think he got a little frustrated he couldn't outrun me. Finally he gave up and I passed him on the right. One of many times during a 500 mile roadtrip but that was just too funny.

The 335 would have out-powered me so must have been the 328. As much as I love those cars there are too many pricks driving them for me to buy one. Anyway, it was a good feeling that his little uber car gave it up in the end despite his stupid attitude.

Some dude in a TSX tried to keep up with me but no go... left him in the dust, too. Not such a big deal because he's only got a 4 banger.

 

I'm confused as to why street racing is cool any more.

Way over priced and over hyped for me. I work with a guy who just bought a 07' 335xi. He thinks his car is god and that pretty much no one will beat him. I told him two years and I'm going to make him cry when I smoke him. I know what you're thinking why two years? Bottom line is I am a poor college student and I just got my car and I'm just putting it on the road most likely late April early May.

 

when you see an older guy in a BMW you can most likely assume its his but if its a a really young guy then its probably his dads or its a lease

 

Did he have the split exhaust or just on the driver side? It was probably a 328 and that's why he debadged

He was in the passing lane and wouldn't let me pass so I made it happen. Not a "street race."

 

328's are nothing that special.. i like the 335 2dr hardtop convertible, but the dashboard is not the best looking. Just my .02 cents

 

Overall their products look very nice, especially their wheels. I like that hardtop vert too but you're talking 50k minimum at least I think.
