that's classic. Lex gets to catch the ice chunks, CLS stays inside.

Naw... We dodged a bullet with the hail. Although, I did snap a pic of a funnel cloud that passed right over my condo.

I saw some of the video on the news. Golfball-sized hail will certainly do some damage. A dentbuster's owner was interviewed and he was literally jumping for joy due to all the car damage.

Last month I got bad hail damage here in northern Tex,, $3600 cl-s,, $2600 Dodge Minivan,,, $5600 for the house roof,,, I know I know,,, not in the Chicago Area but we're from Buffalo Grove so it counts... Also the paintless dent repair worked on the minivan,, I'm having a new hood put on the CL-S but paintless will be done on the cars roof,, decided that would be better because they told me they were going to cut the roof off...

yep,,, what's even more scary I used to ride my dirt bikes in the open fields before anything was built there,,, come to think of it I got a ticket at that very corner for riding on a 250cc and being only 16 (limit at the time was 150cc's),,, I really should forget about that,,,

im sorry but i have to see some pics of these hail damages cause some of these quotes you guys are throwing around is outrageous. I know paintless dent repairs can repair a whole car for about 500 bucks (about 10-15 damaged spots)

you don't understand,, we had golf ball size hail and I have over 100 dings sooooo it's $600 for a new hood with paint,, then about 2000 more for paintless soooo it's still cheaper than 3600 for non paintless methods,, your are right I am going to a Dealership for repairs but I know the Manager and he handles all my nit picking complaints,,, which are ussally many

I do have a garage that I made into a auto shop but I keep my 1966 mustang and motorcycle in it,,, something had to give that night,,,
