I got a hit a while back by this dude coming out of a neighborhood without even looking. I had very similar damage to yours. Long story short, he gave me false info (insurance, address, etc) however some of his info was correct. Well my brothers buddy is a cop in NJ where this happened and was able to to track him down with the bits and pieces of legit info. Me, my brother and a 6'6" 320 lbs friend of mine went to his door and told him he can either go to the ATM and get $500 or deal with the cops about him providing false information (since we told home we were able to track him down with aid of the cops). Well, he decided to go to the ATM and get the $500, which was cool since the estimate was for $400. I gotta say i felt pretty good about that one.

One thing i learned and hopefully you too, is to just call the cops imediately after it happens. I hope you get justice on this bietch. This is why i carry a gun in my car. Cuz thats what i do, shoot ppl....jus playin...til it happens in MY CL

Wish my damage was cheap like yours. My total cost is between 1250-2000 bucks.

I went to her address and then took pictures of the car with the evidence of my paint and her corner turn signal smashed up. She's definitely not gonna get away from this. If I win this case I'm definitely gonna make her life a living hell.

Omg I'm so fucking pissed. I took my car to the Insurance Adjuster Drive-In place and she was looking at the damage and then she hand me a check for 300 dollars to get the damage fixed. I was like if you haven't notice I took it to a bodyshop and the quote came out to 2g. She was like the damage doesn't look that severe to me. I was like you only looked from the outside. You didn't even look at the internals.

What insurance company do you have?
I’d like to know so that I can be sure to avoid them in the future.

That’s surprising, I thought you were gonna say some obscure company.
I’ve been with Allstate since I started driving back in 1983 and have never had a problem with a claim.
You do have to argue with them, but it’s always worked out.
They always lowball the estimates, but my body shop guy has always gotten the extra money once they started to work on the car.

I’ve only ever had one car-to-car accident when some lady rear ended my Legend coupe, but I’ve had several deer hits and vandalism claims over the years.
