Dents

Just got my new 2002 CL type S in silver two weeks ago, and yesterday i noticed my first small dent on the passenger side. Some moron opened their door too wide and now my brand new baby has a bump on it. Is there any way to get these out yourself, because its hardly noticalbe unless you see it in the light, or can someone give an estimate of some places that hammer out small dents (preferably in the LA area). Thanks!

sounds like it could be easily taken out by a paintless dent repair shop. Basically they use a strong suction, to suck the dent out.

Paintless is the way to go. I just had about a dozen dents took out of my civic and cl last week by the Dent Wizard. I even had a crease on the trunk which came out perfect. It's usually about $80 a panel, but I paid with cash and didn't need a receipt so it was a total of $150 for both cars, which had dents in just about every panel.

There are places that can get your dents out, look in the Yellow pages or ask your dealership. You don't want to do this yourself because the prices are cheap enough for you to pay someone else to do it (sometimes while you wait). $35 a dent up to about $100 a panel full of dents.

I try to do this every Spring. No matter how hard you try to avoid them, you always get 1 or 2.
