Defroster Fuzz

Here is a question for all of you. When you put on the rear defroster do you get mad static on all of your radio stations? I've noticed this for a while and tonite it was really pissing me off, if it's not a common problem I'm going to the dealer with this and MANY more complaints.

Nope. Sounds like something is amiss there. I used my rear defroster this morning while listening to the radio and it came in just as clear as with the defroster off.

paper1122,

I never heard THAT one.
Sounds like a short in the antenna grid on the glass or maybe by the connectors at the top of the window.
If you want to check yourself before going to the dealer you can pop off the plastic cover near the top of the glass and take a look for something obvious.

Is your back window tinted ? Metallic tint maybe ?
Maybe the tint guy screwed something up and then Acura won’t pay.
You would have to go back to the tint place.
