Decking J32A2 BLOCK
Decking my block ..j32a2.. by how much should it be decked ??im also putting in j35 internals and high compression pistons all together it should be around 12:0:1 !!Thank you for your replies!!
Why do you want to deck it? If you want 12.0:1 then you don't need to deck it. Check it for straightness (heads and block), and replace the head gasket. If it was running fine before, it will probably be within straightness spec.

So a resurface would be fine?? I just want the gaskets to seal perfect without a problem ..Tbh i got the engine off ebay 100,000 miles supposebly ..thanks for your response!!
You need to measure the head and block for straightness. Takes about $25 in tools. If you are within spec, then you don't need to take it to a machine shop. Just clean the head and block surfaces, and you'll be good.
